Android 2 (code name “Eclair”) is out this week, well at least the SDK, aa head start on 2.0 giving developers a head start before the new 2.0 devices are released. Android 2 has many improvements over the original relaese. Searchable SMS, Exchange support, better camera controls, a keyboard with full multitouch, a rredesigned browser with a better UI, Bluetooth has improved capability with full 2.1, better support for multiple screen sizes and HTML5 support are just a few of the enhancements.
You might have noticed that Verizon Wireless is the venue featured in the video. Could the rumors that Verizon might have at least temporary exclusivity with the new Android?
