Last week I posted some news about movies being preloaded onto flash drives – but now, there is yet another way companies are trying to sell movies.
Again, it is Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT. But now, instead of buying the movie on DVD, UMD, Blu-Ray Disc, digital download from PlayStation Network, or on a flash drive, it is now on another venue – Hard Disk Drives. Yes that’s right, a Hard Disk Drive. Samsung has announced their latest portable HDD will come pre-loaded with MJ’s THIS IS IT.
As one can see from the picture above, it is a 500GB Samsung external HDD. It comes with 3 year warranty and comes in that specially branded box for THIS IS IT. So now, if one is looking for a relatively cheap way to store large amounts of data, and watch MJ, this is the best option. Pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but this item isn’t for the USA, so if one must have it, they will need to import it.
